BARAKALOFI FUSION DANCE
Nacida en Cádiz(España), Barakalofi es bailarina,profesora y coreógrafa de Danza Oriental, Fusión Tribal y Bollywood. Su aventura con el baile empezó a la edad de 5 años formándose en Flamenco y siguió durante 10 años.
Su formación con los mejores maestros nacionales e internacionales de cada especialidad es contínua y lleva 13 años impartiendo clases en Cádiz y workshops a nivel nacional e internacional.
Desde 2006 comenzó a participar en festivales nacionales junto a su grupo “Raqs al-Hilal”y es en 2010 cuando comienza su periplo internacional bailando en el“International Peace Young Fest” en Chandigarh(India).
Finalista andaluza en el concurso de danza “Vive Tu Sueño” en España y se coloca en el top ten finalista del concurso on-line “The Ultimate Bellydancer”,consigue el primer puesto en 3 grandes festivales de danza como el TribaLX en Lisboa(2012), Tribal Fest en Hannover(2014) y East Coast Classic en Virginia(2015).
Barakalofi es seleccionada mediante casting para formar parte del elenco de bailarinas del show de Bellydance Evolution "The Dark Side of the Crown", dirigido por Jillina Carlano y actúa con ellos en Mexico(2012),Viena y Madrid(2013) y tiene la oportunidad de realizar el espectáculo en su gira por Holanda de 5 semanas(25 shows). Estando en los Países Bajos, forma parte de la grabación del DVD Oficial del show en directo.
Con Bellydance Evolution, vuelve a participar en los estrenos americano ,en San Diego(California)y europeo, en Hannover(Alemania) y Milán (Italia) del nuevo show “Alice in Wonderland” en 2014.
En 2015 Barakalofi comparte escenario con la compañía en Boston(MA) y representa en Nueva York distintos showcases del espectáculo en lugares tan importantes como el Jazz Lincoln Center, el Capezio Dance Center y el New York City Center.
Bellydance Evolution da a Barakalofi la oportunidad de interpretar el papel de “Sombrerero Loco” en los tours de Mayo y Julio de 2015 en Sudáfrica,Praga,Eslovenia,Alemania,Italia,Suiza, Austria y Taiwán.
En 2016 Barakalofi vuelve a ponerse el sombrero para la gran gira de “Alice in Wonderland” en China,35 shows en 29 ciudades durante 9 semanas.
Tanto en el panorama nacional como internacional, Barakalofi es invitada a numerosos eventos y festivales impartiendo workshops y realizando actuaciones.
Es a finales de 2016, cuando emprende la aventura de organizar un festival en su ciudad, “Sahel el-Nour” con dos reconocidas bailarinas y amigas, Serenay y Nada Chouaib cuya primera edición ha sido un éxito. Más proyectos vienen en camino con este nombre.
Barakalofi también lleva su fusión a otros ámbitos. No sólo trabaja con la música oriental sino que también actúa con música en directo, bajo la dirección de cantautores,músicos y grupos conocidos como Fernando Lobo, “Kool”, Jose Simonet, Tarik Martín, “La Depravada Blues Band”, “The HangCovers”,…

Born in Cádiz (Spain), Barakalofi is a dancer, teacher and choreographer of Oriental Dance, Tribal Fusion and Bollywood. His adventure with the dance began at the age of 5 years forming in Flamenco and continued during 10 years.
His training with the best national and international masters of each specialty is continuous and he has been teaching courses for 13 years in Cadiz and national and international workshops.
Since 2006 he started to participate in national festivals together with his group "Raqs al-Hilal" and it is in 2010 when he began his international tour dancing at the “International Peace Young Fest” in Chandigarh, India.

Both nationally and internationally, Barakalofi is invited to numerous events and festivals giving workshops and performing.
It is at the end of 2016, when she embarks on the adventure of organizing a festival in her city, "Sahel el-Nour" with two well-known dancers and friends, Serenay and Nada Chouaib whose first edition has been a success. More projects are on the way with this name.
